This report, developed by the University of Nebraska’s Buffett Early Childhood Institute, details recommendations for how the state of Nebraska could stregthen and expand its early care and education workforce. Readers are provided with a detailed look at the challenges the state faces in recruiting and retaining its early care and education workforce and recommendations for how to overcome these challenges. While the report is focused on Nebraska, the recommendations can be applied to other states.
