State Scan of Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) Policies and Supports

This report provides a state-by-state overview of Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) policies and supports. It identifies states that allow home-based child care providers to unionize, those that have allowed FFN providers to receive stabilization grants, and includes examples of local models of FFN supports. Readers are provided with examples of statewide approaches to supporting FFN care, the most common type of child care in the U.S.
