This report, developed by the Center for the Study of Child Care Employment, examines key policy areas in which states can take action to improve the status and well-being of early educators. The report describes the extent of progress nationwide on specific indicators within each policy area, as well as each state’s performance-to-date in each area. For each policy area examined, the report provides specific recommendations for state policymakers to improve early educator jobs.
